Associate Consultant/Technician (Chico, CA)
Matson & Isom Technology Consulting is looking for positive, self-motivated individuals with skills in IT Helpdesk support, Cisco networking, and Microsoft software for a full-time entry level Associate Consultant position.
Job Description:
Associate Consultants perform entry-level remote and onsite technical support for clients under the supervision of a senior consultant.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of college or technical school preferred.
- Working knowledge of local/wide area networking, protocols, installation, and administration. Experience in Microsoft environments preferred.
- Computer literate on PC installation/configuration and able to learn programs quickly.
- Flexibility, creative thinking, and ability to handle multiple projects with various deadlines. Able to evaluate a situation and exercise proper judgment and to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team. An effective communicator with ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
Job Duties:
- Provide phone support and triage in response to incoming calls for technical support.
- Create and manage support tickets including assigning tasks to appropriate support personnel as needed.
- Manage incident data to ensure client issues are resolved in a timely manner while managing client expectations and client satisfaction.
- Configure software for printers, backup systems and other peripherals.
- Perform duties with speed, accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and answer phones when required.
- Assist coworkers with various duties including research, client contact and documentation.
