In this month’s client spotlight, we are recognizing one of our newer clients, and one we are proud to call our own, Pacific Living Properties (PLP.) With six properties in Chico alone, PLP has been providing unique and innovative apartment homes to meet the needs of their residents for over 20 years. Their nearly 40 living communities span the entire west coast with properties in Northern California, San Diego, Central California, Inland Empire and the Northwest.

Pacific Living Properties is committed to providing a quality living environment to enhance the lives of their residents. This owner-operated business believes that every resident should receive the best personalized attention and services possible from the property management team. From fresh-baked cookies in the leasing office to pool parties, pumpkin carving contests and other social acitivities, PLP creates a thriving neighborhood community with a caring staff and friendly people.And, it doesn’t stop there! Pacific Living Properties promotes sustainable living practices for their residents as well, thereby encouraging them to enjoy better health AND a healthier planet. With features like low cost, energy efficient appliances and lights, not only do the occupants pay less for their utilities, but they reduce their carbon footprints as well. Residents have access to onsite recycling programs and facilities, and classes about how and what to recycle. Even the flooring used in the apartments is recycled! Our favorite part is the organic pea patch garden where residents can grow their own fresh vegetables.

Leading by Example

It is obvious to partners and residents of Pacific Living Properties that they care and are constantly working toward creating a healthier living environment that reduces their environmental impact. Their solar-powered corporate headquarters is equipped with a rooftop 10,200 Watt Photo-Voltaic energy generating system that is 100% emissions and noise-free and produces 15,161 kWh each year. They are always looking for new ways to incorporate renewable energy solutions into their other offices and apartments. Most recently, PLP has been working with the Matson & Isom Technology Consulting team to refresh their onsite networks, creating a more secure, faster environment. With the deployment of a unified wireless network across their properties, they have enabled their mobile workforce, even further reducing their overall carbon footprint and creating a modern, technologically advanced community for their residents.
