It's the moment we've all been waiting for. Microsoft has wrapped up the development of their latest operating system and released Windows 7 to manufacturing. Microsoft had over 10 million people opt into their Customer Experience Improvement Program test out Windows 7 before the official launch. They wanted to make sure it was solid before its release. Windows 7 will be available to the general public on October 22, 2009.
